Basic Studio Lighting

These different photos are meant to represent different studio lighting: Broad lighting, Short lighting, Side/Split lighting, Rembrandt lighting, and Butterfly lighting. I photographed two different classmates, Syn and Kai. Syn can be seen in 4 of the 5 images and Kai is on the top right. These images are taken on the third floor of the art building. While taking images getting the right lighting down, for example setting up the light properly was the biggest issue we faced. Sometimes the light would come down differently and would alter the image.
